Hi, hello, welcome! I'm Rachel Natali. When I started Change of A Dress, I set out to create an all-inclusive, positive, and comfortable alterations experience for every bride out there.
Every single part of a wedding should be handled with the utmost care, and that includes alterations! My expertise in sewing and working on bridal gowns will guarantee you have the perfect fit and look the best on your wedding day! Altering a wedding dress takes specific skills and knowledge and that is exactly what I deliver.

I've been sewing since I was a child. I made all of my dresses for homecoming and prom growing up. I made my cousins wedding dress and my best friend from high school's wedding dress as well as my maid of honor dresses. I did a semester at FIT in New York during high school, and graduated with a Fashion degree from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta Ga. I have been doing bridal alterations for 15+ years now.

My alterations advice?
A LOT of brides assume alterations are inexpensive and less than the cost of their dress. Most of the time alterations range $500 - $1200 and it all depends on the details of the dress and how its constructed; which can only be determined once the gown is opened up and the process begins. Buying a dress off-the-rack, used, or on discount, often cost MORE to alter than what you will spend on buying the dress.
The price of a wedding dress is not indicative of the cost to alter it.
